TEA AND CHAT

Tea and chat is a drop-in group which runs on a Wednesday and Friday morning between 9:30 am and 12 pm. We provide tea / coffee and biscuits in a safe, warm, and comfortable environment. People from all walks of life and different life stories come to this group. In winter months especially, many of these people either have nowhere to go at all or cannot afford to heat their homes so they come to keep warm.

Alongside this we also give out food bags to those who need them and more recently have been able to offer fresh fruit and vegetables as well.

We also have a shower room, washing machine, and dryers, so that people can come and freshen up and wash their clothes; and we will provide clean clothes whilst theirs are washed and dried.

We hope that those who come can feel a sense of belonging and acceptance.
